Wealthy agribusiness interests plan to pour big money into California in an attempt to mislead voters about the Prevention of Farm Animal Cruelty Act.  The American Veal Association and the National Pork Producers Council pumped hundreds of thousands of dollars into Arizona in 2006 in a failed attempt to defeat a similar ballot measure there.  Factory egg producers have already pumped nearly a million dollars into the 2008 California opposition campaign.  We know we're likely to be outspent, but we need your help in order to compete!
